Algodoeiro herbáceo submetido a déficit hídrico: Produção

Resumo

Objetivou estudar o efeito de períodos de déficits hídricos, em diferentes fases fenológicas, sob os componentes da produção de cultivares de algodoeiro herbáceo, em experimento conduzido em casa de vegetação, com tratamentos distribuídos no delineamento experimental inteiramente casualizado em esquema fatorial 4 x 2, sendo os fatores quatro períodos de déficits  de irrigação aplicados em diferentes fases fenológicas (D1= testemunha irrigada, D2 = déficit na fase de aparecimento do primeiro botão floral, D3 = déficit na fase de aparecimento da primeira flor e D4 = déficit na fase de aparecimento da primeira maçã) e 2 cultivares de algodoeiro herbáceo (BRS 286 e BRS 336) com 4 repetições. Os dados foram submetidos à análise de variância através do teste F, sendo as médias dos tratamentos dos fatores comparadas pelo teste de tukey a 5% de probabilidade. Os déficits hídricos aplicados nas diferentes fases fenológicas das cultivares BRS 286 e BRS 336 do algodoeiro herbáceo afetaram o número de capulho por planta e a produtividade; O tratamento sem déficit promoveu maior número de capulhos e produtividade para estas cultivares de algodoeiro herbáceo; O algodoeiro herbáceo foi mais tolerante ao déficit na fase de maçã; A cultivar BRS 336 se destacou com maiores valores de peso de capulho e percentagem de fibra.
